What is Exceed?
Exceed is a medical microneedling device from Candela. It is FDA-cleared for facial wrinkles and acne scars, and it creates tiny controlled channels in the skin to support the skin's natural collagen production.
Does microneedling hurt?
A numbing cream is usually applied first, so most clients feel only light pressure or a mild scratching sensation. Needle depth is adjusted for each area.
What is the downtime?
Downtime is minimal. Most clients have redness, similar to a mild sunburn, for a day or two, and your provider will give you aftercare and sun protection instructions.
How many treatments will I need?
In clinical studies the device was used as a series of 4 treatments over about 12 weeks. Your provider will recommend a plan for your skin, which may differ.
When will I see results?
